Woolwich buy Trossard and he’s instrumental to their title push and is slotting in fantastically. Spurs as per usual sign a pointless cheapo loanee and he doesn’t get any games. An utter shambles.

We could have signed Trossard, but he was never going to get a look in over Son. Probably wasn't going to get a look in over Kulusevski and we already had Richarlison on the bench and probably deserving of game time already.
Woolwich could have signed Danjuma, we could have signed Trossard and we'd probably be having the same conversation in reverse.

He was nothing more than a last minute panic signing by Levy to keep the fans quiet. We were apparently after Trossard & Levy did what Levy does & offered half the amount that Brighton wanted. A few hours later he signs for Woolwich & he’s been a good signing for them for not a lot of money. Levy will never learn & fans wonder why we are where we are.
Trossard cost nearly £30 mill.
He’s a good role player in a team that’s firing right now.

I bet Son would have still played 99% of the time regardless... And Conte would have still waffled about wanting a #10 instead even though he turned down Eriksen & Maddison and refuses to play anything but 343 anyway.
Maybe he just doesnt understand the highly complicated tactical system Conte and Stellini want to play with. Because from the few minutes we've seen of him, he is definitely not worse than Son, Kulu, the state they are in or than Lucas, the state he always is in.
