Maybe he’s just trying to shoulder the blame so the players don’t get the stick.

Conte is saying things in the media that very few other managers would have the bollocks to say, but they’re things that need to be said.
That comment in particular about “The club changes the coach but the players are always the same” is a vicious swipe at the hierarchy of the club, but is he wrong by saying it?

What is you and other Spurs fans issue with hearing the truth? Levy has been protected for far too long. Enough is enough.

Definitely odd considering he accepted the role and is making an obscene 15m in wages a year.

he could just constantly lower expectations till the summer and be reasonable and we'd accept it and not turn on him

He has had enough from inconsistent average squad. He backs himself but not the players.
