Next season we will start with Tim Sherwood, and a load of kids, and probably Andy Carroll on loan.

Wake up.

There is no way we would get Andy Carroll on loan...

Remember when we signed Halilovic?

i saw that, but some people think that if they put their joke in practice a few hours before april 1st they're actually being very smart and they'll manage to fool us:adestare:

I can see it being a serious story, as Madrid are like that - they saw the two losses recently as an abomination and are incredible fickle.

If it happens, me want Ancelotti. Severely doubt it would, though

I'd prefer Ancelotti to LvG. Recent PL experience and solid track record.

Seems a decent fella but I suspect with underlying nasty bastard capabilities. Just what we need to sort out any passengers.

Tottenham plot move for under-fire Real Madrid boss Ancelotti if Sherwood is axed
By NEIL ASHTON

Carlo Ancelotti has emerged as a shock contender to return to the Premier League at Tottenham if Tim Sherwood fails to keep the job beyond this summer.

With Real Madrid having blown their lead in La Liga, coach Ancelotti is under massive pressure to deliver the club’s 10th European Cup.

And Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who has become aware of the dissatisfaction at the Bernabeu, is monitoring developments.

Raring to go: Ancelotti (centre) prepares his side for their clash with Borussia Dortmund

Despite Sunday’s 4-0 defeat at Liverpool, Levy still wants Sherwood to succeed as manager.
The 40-year-old former academy coach is planning for next season and has detailed a number of transfer targets to turn round the club’s fortunes.

Levy is understood to have distanced himself from the possibility of bringing in Dutchmen Louis van Gaal or Frank de Boer, who have irritated the Spurs chairman by talking in public about the approach he made before Sherwood was offered the job.

Ancelotti, who won the Double in his first season with Chelsea in 2009-10 only to be sacked by Roman Abramovich a year later after missing out on a trophy, is an option if Levy feels a change must be made at White Hart Lane.

Always makes me laugh when I read things like '(we) understand Levy is annoyed/dissatisfied/monitoring this/that' despite him being one of the most reserved men in football.

i agree with that, i think i'd like him better than all the other names linked to spurs lately, including LvG

1447 FOOTBALL: Former Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted he would be interested in the Tottenham job if current incumbent Harry Redknapp succeeds Fabio Capello as England boss. He told La Repubblica: "In a few months Capello's job will go to an Englishman that will free up a spot at a club. Only big jobs interest me like Liverpool and Tottenham. But I'm not in a rush."

Would you be happy with that should 'Arry take the England job?
