massively fake commentary
I love that story about Bill Nic's pre match talk. He talked up Atletico's players to such an extent that Danny Blanchflower thought the team was in awe of them. So the captain asked to speak and built Spurs up. I don't know if any transcript of the speech exists but he basically went through the teams and talked up all the players saying that they were each better than their opponent.
I'm sure I've read somewhere that it included the classic line '"if their centre back is big and ugly, then ours (Norman) is bigger and uglier" . Changed the atmosphere of the changing room, and the rest is history.
