Definitely. Seeing Lamela and Chadli in that front four today was so good, still buzzing from it tbh. It was watching an intelligent and dangerous team that can really compete with the other top five or six clubs with nothing to fear.

I was sitting next to the Hills Have Eyes branch of the spurs supporters club!!! Even though the rather large lady with BO had 1 butt cheek on my seat, it still didn't take anything away from the day. We played excellent and still didn't look like we were in top gear

Sorry can't read all these posts so will probably repeat stuff, but have to say I thoroughly enjoyed today's game. Noticed that they players didn't do the usual huddle before the start, which demonstrates that they know what needs to be done before they step out on the pitch. Thought Capoue had an excellent game, as did Bentaleb and Rose, and Dier looks so cool and calm on the ball - can't believe this is only his second game. Jan looked more involved than he has done for ages. Have to take into account the poor opposition, but we have lost against worse. It was a great team performance all round and everyone had a part to play - kudos to Poch for getting them playing as a coherent unit, long may it continue. I don't want to get carried away though, let's see what happens next week. Good atmosphere today, at least there was some football worth watching.

I just got out of the bin. For answering questions why I thought we needed 2 solid holding players, eriksen, Lamela and one bigger player in the mix with Ade has been my mantra. Chadli filled that aerial or target role perfect and I upped him before the game.

But yeah. This was a HUGE day for me. I can't explain how long it's been since I wanted a starting 11 without attackers like Townsend, Soldado, Lennon and Naugnton in the starting 11.
