Im talking about throughout his career. No quotes anywhere about him being a bad egg. Yet people don’t like him because he wants to move club and has an addiction. At least his is public unlike quite a lot of other players.

There are 3 maybe 4 examples of him slagging off Brentford whilst still at the club.
He’s done nothing but talk about leaving whilst they pay his salary not to play because his addiction got him in trouble….

Mate,he’s been very good since he’s came back. You are only looking at it from a goals point of view. As a striker he takes Brentford up the pitch. He’s class. I get you don’t like him but he’s not what you think.
1 assist in 13 since coming back, no goal in 9 games (not sure about today) …
He’s a striker. No club at the level he wants to be at can afford a forward producing those numbers, he’ll end up on the bench but being paid huge money.
29 by the time he plays for his next club.
Edit: Wissa has 2 for Brentford today and they look better without him. Does he even start again for Brentford this season??

You are not looking at his overall game and what he brings to his team. He’s not 29 till next March. I don’t think we’ll sign him because of his age so this debate is pointless but go and watch what he brings to his team the next time you watch him. He’s a guaranteed 15 goals a season plus everything else he offers.
I understand why the club are going for younger players which hopefully make us successful in the future and can sustain success but we still need ready made players no matter what their age is to make us better.
I put it this way to you,if you asked most central defenders in the premier league ,most if not all will say they don’t like paying g against Toney. We don’t have one front player that you could say that about.
Yes he will start when he’s fit.
