Fantastic so Chavs paid £23m for Potter
When is their day reckoning?
In its written reasons the independent commission said the Premier League had asked for a five-point deduction for the club.
The commission decided that any breach of PSR justifies a three-point deduction, with an additional two points because Everton's breach of £16.6m - 15.8% above the £105m threshold - is deemed significant.
However, the commission accepted Everton's arguments for mitigation in relation to the fact the club has:
The commission concluded that the fact Everton have already been punished this season merits a two-point reduction in punishment, with a further point for the loss of sponsorship revenue and early admission of guilt.
- Already been deducted points this season
- Suffered a loss of revenue because of the suspension of a sponsorship deal with Russian company USM
- Made an early admission of guilt
So 5 points for the offences reduced to 2 points, as this 'commission' bent over backwards to find ways to reduce the punishment : and still Everton complaining !
No wonder he isn't bothered about getting another job! Then they gave him a 5 year contract worth £50m and are still paying him off lol
Any owner who breaks PSR more than once should be forced to sell the club, both Forest and Everton full board of directors should get a5 year bans.
Sorry, have I taken a wrong turn into the West Spam thread. The turd that won’t flush, but needs to be sent down
they won’t exist in 18 months
Everton are an absolutely plumb asset once that ground is built (Anfield isn't getting any gigs after that). It is going to be stunning.they won’t exist in 18 months
Both. They need to go down and completely reset their cost base IMO. Write off debts, bankruptcy etc. get rid of all players. They are a basket case and can’t keep hanging on like this777 or Everton?
I seriously hope that isn't the case. It would be a very sad indictment of football as a whole if a club the size of Everton ceased to exist.they won’t exist in 18 months
They will bounce back stronger, it’s just how long it takes to returnI seriously hope that isn't the case. It would be a very sad indictment of football as a whole if a club the size of Everton ceased to exist.
