Watching Palace and clear similarities with how they are run and how Levy runs Spurs, he is just lucky to have inherited a wealthy, large legacy fanbase that generates money for him to grow his investment. They are happy plodding along, as are we. Never taking risks

Do you lot wonder why I find it so easy to ridicule you with dumb takes like these? 😆

In what way?

Both clubs made really good progress and then progress stalled. They’ve sort of stayed in that mid-table zone and we’ve stayed in that in and around top six zone.

Both clubs have had cup finals which they’ve lost and not really pushed on since. Both have tried a mix of coaches from regressive to progressive.

Both fanbases have simultaneously been treated to a big upturn on the past but then got frustrated with lack of progress and have a sense of wanting more.

Differences are obvious - we are clearly doing it at a higher level, have developed a lot more off the field w/stadium and revenue growth and have invested more in to players. And with Ange our future is more promising than theirs with Roy.

But I don’t think the clubs are completely incomparable, there are similar emotions involved for both fanbases.

There are similarities between the two clubs in fairness. There are definitely differences as well but there is a comparison to be made there.
The differences are all down to the fans

We paid for the stadium, we generate the revenue

We have a better side, better stadium, better players, better everything but that’s all down to the fans. Palace are a well run side, so are we

The original assertation was that both clubs were happy to plod along and never take risks yet all you've mentioned is the similarities in emotions with both fanbases and the fortunes on the pitch?

Staying in that top 6 zone, what other zone is there to go up to lol isn't that good? I don't understand that point if you're comparing that to Palace, Palace haven't even tried to break into the top 8, they are firmly a mid table team and are merely happy to be in the Prem.

There's obviously a clear difference between ENIC and their owners, ENIC are trying to push the club on, just like they've always done since they brought the club, the problem isn't the intention, it's the execution with the way they've gone about things which is the frustration.
