In this case he should have either gone for the cross ... or stayed closer to his line.
His position in the end was somewhere in between which didn't help.
At 100% he'd have gone to push that ball.
You could tell in other occasions too like on their header at the beginning. Normally he would have at least moved, but today he just watched the ball.
