Yeah, but the fact is that despite our lackluster performance we were on course to get all 3 points and move up to 3rd.

Over the course of a 38 game season you are ALWAYS going have at least a dozen closely fought games, be it relegation fodder or super teams. City beat Palace 1-0 a few days ago, imagine that cancelled out by a dubious pen for Palace?
Wolves lost 2-1 against Newcastle in a tightly fought game, where Pope got away with a certain pen, and a 4 game ban. That impacted the next game where Forest lost 2-1, and in significant part thanks to a Pope super save.

Get a manager that uses young players and like to press and spends there time working with less able players.
