Lo Celso's entire arc at Spurs from beginning to now end is EXACTLY acting like Spurs are a charity.

From the outside looking in, he never once prioritized Tottenham Hotspur.

Even now, it's all just about Argentina.
Not sure that’s strictly true.

I think he was desperate to play for Spurs in the summer of ‘19 and Pochettino was the main driving force behind that.
Once Poch got sacked it all went to shit and he just lost all interest amongst the circus of Mourinho/Mason/Nuno.

It’s a pity because anyone who has seen him play for Argentina can he see there is a very tidy player there who could be a real asset for us, but his ship has undoubtedly sailed it would seem…

Lo Celso arrived unfit got fit to the extent of making either one or two sub appearances, went off to play for Argentina against Poch instructions and got crocked (partly due to playing 2 or 3 games for Argentina in a week having not been fit enough to play 90 mins for Spurs), and when Lo Celso fit, Poch was gone.

So zero desperation to play for Spurs, 100 % for Argentina even when not fully fit

That’s a very edited version of events from what I recall.

Lo Celso arrived and played a bit part role but it wasn’t due to an injury or lack of fitness, he simply arrived so late we already had a settled team without him and he rightfully had to work his way in.

Then because he arrived so late there was an international break almost immediately during which he picked up the hip injury which kept him out ‘til Poch’s sacking. Poch never tried to stop him playing for Argentina.

All reliable reports and journalists were constant during the summer of 2019 saying that Lo Celso only wanted Spurs.

Incorrect

He arrived after playing internationals for Argentina and it took him a number of weeks to get fit. He played for Poch in either one or two sub appearances (not even worth calling it a bit part) appearance before disappearing off to play for Argentina where he got crocked and by the time he recovered Morhino had taken over.

So his total appearances in first about 4 months was a couple of sub appearance under Poch

Did he want to play for Spurs or Poch ..... or just like a huge wage ....... and a place to recover between playing for Argentina

In total he completed 7 PL starts playing 90 minutes in two and a half seasons

Yes he had injuries but that's just taking the piss when he's always fit for Argentina

Who else was in for him?
