Delighted to see Townsend get the start and Siggy pushed back out to the wing. Also happy to see Walker get a rest and extremely happy to see Kaboul getting his first start in a year. Very excited to watch this lineup.

Like the look of the team. Would have liked to have seen Carroll start, but get a couple of goals up, bring him on for Dembele or Paulinho and control the game seems to be the plan.

Was hoping the same, but I think he played a full 90 just three days ago iirc. Would be very happy to see him come on and given some time to see what he can do. Guy seems to be quite proliferative for both club and country of late.
 
Glad to see such a strong side. I've always been an advocate of starting with a strong team and taking players off if it goes well, then starting with a weaker team and chucking on the 'stars' if it goes tits-up.
