I think 4 players are absolutely critical:

RB: Tomiyasu
CB: we need 2. It seems like Andersen will be one for the other we hopefully go big (Kounde/Skriniar)
CM: The long overdue Winkssoko upgrade has to be this summer. We can't rely on those two wasters for another year. Sabitzer would be ideal, wouldn't be opposed to Pjanic.

If Kane goes we will obviously need attacking reinforcements, if he stays I'm not sure we bring anyone in. It's a worry because we have also lost Bale's goal threat and will have to turn to the second rate guys to become starters (Lucas, Lamela, Bergjwin, Dele)

352:

Lloris
Tomiyasu - Skriniar - Rodon
Doherty ---------------------Reguilon
Hojberg ----Sabitzer
Lo Celso
Kane --------- Son

Tomiyasu -- Skriniar -- Rodon -- Reguilon
Skipp
Hojberg -- Sabitzer
Bergjwin ---------------Son
Kane
Some sort of racist?

Once again: Sabitzer is not a pure central midfielder. He is a creative right winger with majority of his goal and assist output coming off the right wing.

Buying him to slot him in central midfield is like wearing mismatched socks. It works but it does not look right.

He works perfectly well in a midfield 3 which is what I sense we are moving to.

Him and Hojberg as busy 8's with Skipp sitting could have a lovely balance.

He doesn't.

Sabitzer's move to a central role has killed his offensive output. He should at the very least be played as a ten or second striker if moved centrally. With Bale not coming back we need someone to ship in with goals and assists. Sabitzer as a creative right winger would do that.

Buying him to use him as a 8 is a waste of resources when we have perfectly good 8s in Gio and Tanguy and as the Euros have showed Pierre.

We know how it's gonna end. His main position will be RW, but due to injuries and lack of transfers to strenghten midfield he's gonna be pushed there and Bergwijn will take his place on wing. With Lo Celso and Ndombele we will have different midfield setups every week.

Tarkowski would be a good signing, the sort of player we need.

His contract runs out next year, so we could get him on a relatively cheap deal.

Doherty-Tarkowski-Rodon-Davies

A British back 4, that's what all good sides are built on.

Tanguy doesn't have the legs to play as an 8.
Gio is a crock.

We need reliable players in central midfield - Sabitzer would be that. He would in no way replicate Bale's goalscoring form if stuck out on the right.

So if I'm reading this correctly.

Umtiti is available on a free and a top french left footed CB and Kounde a top french right footed CB is available for £60m.

I mean those two for a combiend £60m makes perfect sense even to Levy surely?
Kounde wants CL football next season. He won’t sign with us.

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to sanction the exit of Toby Alderweireld this summer, but only if a club meets the asking price.

The Sun claim that Tottenham value the 32-year-old at around £25million with the player wanting to move to his homeland Belgium or a return to Holland.

So Levy after top dollar for a 32yr old cb

Rescinding their contract is a win
Would like to see them banished on the first day of pre season. Frogmarched out of the training ground like a disruptive 15 year old after being expelled from school - sent packing with a clip round the ear, their bag launched down the corridor. Clump

So what CM combo do you want to see then?
