Conte is a phenomenal manager. I don’t know if he’d be a phenomenal manager for Tottenham (as currently run).

Don't get me wrong, Conte is a very good coach, but unless Levy is going to surprise us all in more ways than one then this feels almost as much of an incoming car crash as appointing Mourinho was.

Conte might be a superb manager to get an already functional squad over the line, but is he really the person to come in and take 2-3 seasons rebuilding/unfucking us? If Poch got salty when Levy didn't get his exact transfer targets then lord knows how Conte would/will react.

Also would he be happy under a DoF? (which is absolutely the structure we should be aiming for)

His best mate at Inter (and Juve back then) is Giuseppe Marotta, the DoF of Inter.
