FUCK IT!!!Tier 3 from Wednesday no stadium open what a ball ache
Nah fuck em.Having even 2000 fans creates an advantage for the home team , doesn’t seem right that some clubs can get that advantage and the rest can’t .
It brings forward the time when fans get back in as whilst the shops etc were open the infection rate was never going to get down to get back to Tier 2 but now it could happen quicker.so, I suppose if you have no fans allowed in the ground in Tier 3, does Tier 4 means no players allowed in the ground?
I'd be surprised if anyone is allowed fans in the coming weeks. The government are puppets having their strings pulled by the likes of SAGE. SAGE who have no regard to the economy or people's lives outside of Covid. SAGE who almost certainly are giving advice based on worst case scenarios rather than most likely outcomes based off proven facts.
Anyway, after that rant, my point is.... we're not going back to the lane this season. Not until the majority of the population have had a vaccine.
Do you not watch the news or something? There's a fucking mutant, hyper infective strain of Covid ripping through London and the South East, hospitals are filling up and there'll be four figure daily deaths again imminently. The PL will do very well to keep the season going. It would be insanity to allow fans back at the moment. March at the earliest before that happens.
The PL probably should cancel or postpone the league. They won't though as there's too much money at risk, they'd have to pay back Sky, BT, NBC, beIN, etc, etc, etc.Do you not watch the news or something? Why? The Government wants to save the NHS but how many Professional Footballers ending up in Hospital? It's gonna get shut down again isn't it?
Please no, I try to limit my viewing of Gary Lineker to once a week, I’m done with those World Cup reruns. It's gonna get shut down again isn't it?
There's about 50,000 Spurs fans would disagree!!Great news!
Up to 10,000 supporters will be allowed into stadiums from Monday, 17 May provided the government is able to stick to its scheduled roadmap.
To maintain a competitive balance and ensure all 20 clubs get to play a home game with fans present, a round of fixtures will be shifted to 18-20 May.
Final round of games on 23rd May.
