I wasnt in a meeting, I’m going on the only information we have been given by the manager of the club who Ndombele spoke to.
Direct quotes, which you also posted.

Difference is, that you are saying that no matter what Jose said, you are going to make up your own scenario and just run with that.

Hey it is the internet I suppose, isn’t that what Journalists do anyway.

No, what I am doing doing is reading exactly what Mourinho said, but reading all of it - including the bit where he says the player is not feeling fully recovered from old injuries - realising there is a simple truth here, and seeing through the bullshit spin that Mourinho adds to it so that idiots, who don't know better, talk about something else, and get angry with someone else (anyone but Mourinho) so they stop thinking and talking about the things he (Mourinho) is doing wrong or the performance of the team he is in charge of.

"Ndombele not even coming. Injured and with lots of problems."

That quote you brough out is 100% accurate.
He is not even close. He is currently unavailable. He has been more unavailable than he has been available so far. Situation with him is currently not good, no matter how you paint it. Team needs him and he is not available - this is cold fact.

This is not laying blame or bashing him nor calling him names nor calling him out. Absolutely not.

What is manager supposed to say? "Everything is freakin' awesome! I don't need that dud, we are better off with him being unavailable majority of the time!"? I don't see that it would sound better in any way.

I read the whole thing:
Ndombele is scared of old injuries and despite not being actually injured isn’t in the right mind to play

Just a minute ago you called the bits you don’t like “bullshit”....

Yeah lets kill a guy, completely write him off and say he's not deserving of a paycheck because he's had an injury hit start. Great support that is, fellas hasn't even been here a year

No one is saying that we should kill/slate/fire etc him. I think everyone here hope that he will leave all the things holding him back into past and will start like 80+ % of games (and that he would do well in those games)!

Just weird that people act like Mou would have killed his mom or cut off his finger... when in fact he has described the situation quite accurately.

Guy has had a lot of problems. He is not available. Those are cold facts and not judgement on his mindset nor blaming him for not being available. Latter two things you have to imagine on your own ;) .

I am not sure what José is trying to achieve with Tanguy here. If the lad is soft and not really injured, how is publicly embarrassing him going to help? If he is indeed injured, this clearly doesn’t help.

Also, to the Sammies of the world, there are times when you don’t feel right, but are not diagnosed with anything or the doctors can’t identify a problem. That doesn’t mean you’re not injured. Doctors are not god - they don’t know everything. In fact, here in the US medical errors are the second leading cause of death after cancer.

Definitely agree with this and I think Ndombele knows his own body best and that he was right to be cautious.

Please explain how and what from it is "publicly embarrasing him" ??? What words are embarrasing?

I see cold facts - He has a lot of problems. He is not available. and he will not be in coming weeks most likely. That's what I read from there. Everything else, it seems, you are imagining on top of what was said.

You know what would be statement that would be publicly embarrasing him? "Ndombele is lazy player who does not care about playing football. He is overweight and has no stamina, I don't consider him as valuable part of the squad. He needs to start acting like professional footballer, not like a whimp". - thats would have been embarrasing. Now show me where Mou has said something with such tones.

"He got a booboo weeks ago and still can't get over the mental trauma. A total weakling who doesn't deserve the massive paycheck he's getting each week" Direct quote from someone in this thread

People are clearly blaming him for being injured, it's probably the same lot that had written off Lo celso after the Bayern away game

Who?

Ah don't worry I found the post.

These quotes from Sissoko are about 6 weeks old but I think they are very illuminating,

“Tanguy’s living by my house,” Sissoko said. “I’m trying to help him, give him some advice. Even with his English, because he doesn’t speak English very well. When you move countries and you don’t speak the language, you’re alone, it’s not easy. But we’re here to help him and he’s doing well.

“I’ve been with him while he’s looking for a house, helping him to speak with people, buy stuff, telling him which places he can and cannot go. He’s a young player and he needs someone close to him who can help him.”

Ah, my point was about Mou comments. So in that regard it was miscommunication

There might be one or few in this thread throwing shit, I don't think I (nor you) should let ourselves be disturbed too much about one or few bad/pessimistic apples. It is internet forum afterall :D

Oh.My.God.
Everywhere I look today I see false facts and pure lies.

I absolutely hope that Ndombele will get over his issues, come back and be the player we all hoped he would become. But that does not give justification for plain lies.

Up to now he hasn't had anything close to "healthy run of games" for us.

What is the longest run of consecutive EPL games where he has played full game / nearly full game (say 75 min or more)??
Answer is 2. TWO GAMES.
Matchday 1&2 - (Villa + ManC) both 90 min
Matchday 6&7 - (Leicester+Soton) 86+78 min.

Since that time he has never played more than one half even in two games in a row.

This cannot be called "healthy run of games" by any strech of imagination. He has been mostly absent due to injuries and fitness issues. In total he has taken part in 40% of minutes we have played EPL this season.

40% sounds about right, but that stat needs more context.
For one thing, for much of the season he wasn't our 1st choice midfielder, being second to winks and sissoko under poch and at times dier and sissoko under Mourinho. Understandable, he was a new signing who arrived injured and was being bedded in. You're also forgetting that he played CL games, between leicester and soton he played 64 mins against bayern, that's 3 games in a week. He also played 90 mins in the first redstar game, whilst still featuring off the bench for both watford and liverpool, and also played 90 mins in the second redstar game, after having played 73 mins against everton IN THE SAME WEEK. and then he played 45 and got injured against sheffield.

He's a new signing and was being rotated for god's sake. I'm not saying he wasn't injured, I'm saying he has played games for us this season and many seem not to think that.

We need to realize these are very young men from different countries speaking different languages eating different food around different environment , alot of them has come from very little you have to give them time to adapt, some may adapt more quickly than others we need to be patient this guy is a very talented player we just need to give hime patience and guidance.
