I actually think he is. Not that it matters, as the link is pure nonsense, but Kane will always want to be the main man.

Why does it have to be that black and white? We shouldn't have any player, who feels or is even allowed to feel, entitled to always be our main man in terms of wages by default.

If the deal isn't pure nonsense, then we should imo:
- Offer Dybala a bigger pay than Kane, if that's what it takes and we can afford within our structure.
- Let Kane know that A) it has happened because we can now afford it and want to show ambition, and B) that he will get a new deal at the same wage level or higher, if he shows next season that he's still our main man (on the pitch, not on contract paper)
- Let Dybala know the above might happen and he isn't by default our top earner and shouldn't come running demanding the same as a - potential - new Kane deal, unless his own performances warrants it

That goes for any potential superstar, we'd look to bring in.

-Winning 3 world cups is a fair achievement sure, but he was part of arguably the greatest international team of all time, in the first one he played in in '62 he barely played a single minute of football.

-Robbie Keane has a similar international goal scoring record, does any rank him as one of the greatest ever?

-1200 career goals ffs man, most of those were in friendlies, merely the word of Pele himself as there is no proper records of Brazilian league football back then or scored against literal farmers whilst he was playing for Santos or New York Cosmos. For example, if Messi had spent his entire career playing for Newells Old Boys would he be even nearly as highly regarded as he is now? He would in his hoop. Likewise Ronaldo if he stayed at Sporting.

But I think it’s really positive Toby and Chris played today. A clear sign they're both part of our plans for next season, especially when you consider rose is left in London.
