No point arguing since Aurier is obviously going to be first choice rb this season but I don't think anyone can deny he's a bit of a twat considering his past legal issues, homophobic comments etc etc but hopefully Poch can set him straight and get a consistent season out of him because he's obviously technically and physically able to perform at the highest level.
But it's worrying that he could not convincingly displace Trippier even last year when Trips performances ranged from mediocre to disastrous.

They can but that would mean placing Ndombele as a DM which would limit some of his play. Winks in the 6 role would Imo still be best.

Fair play if that's your outlook... I understand that off-thread posting offends me less than others.
Personally, I just see it as organic debate born out of the trf rumours and activity contained within; which is typically how the trf threads pan out over the course of a summer. Not like anything of great value is being ommitted otherwise along the way.... On the flipside I'm not sure how one can practically segregate the trickle down concerns over (eg) a potential Rose transfer from the merely player/skill aspect of things.... Similarly in the case of KT/Aurier/Foyth it's just a knock on from the "do we need another RB now we've sold KT" question... Who's thread should that go in if it relates to all 3?
I would however fully support a seperate 'links only (no discussion)' trf thread to be 'stickied' for the benefit of those that just want to merely glance over the accumulated tabloid & twitter horseshit.

Poch clearly really rates Foyth and he’ll be a main man this season. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on. He’s obviously very confident on the ball and we will continue to play it out from the back, regardless. That might be the main reason he’s there - to give the ball to Winks or Tanguy.
