After last night's performance (before that it was only scottish football)- will he go onto the list of good players Spurs nearly signed. Personally would have been quality to have brought him off the bench a few times this season. Maybe another cheeky bid in January is on order. What do you all think?

It's foolish to discount performances in the Scottish game. There are lots of instances where big club snobbery prevents us seeing quality in the Scottish game

After yesterday his price is going to be off the charts, no way we'll spend 40 million or more on him

I bought him in Fifa but I just can't drop Janssen or Harry, he's not happy, can't even get on the bench . I think because of this he'll never sign for Spurs.

I don't think Celtic are really in a position to demand that much. Honestly, a team like Stoke could walk that league every year (No disrespect to Stoke)
i would agree but in the current market a player who impresses in the CL against the so called strongest league in England will see his value increase to a number that surpasses the local league

People are starting to pay 20,30 million for players with no experience on the island let alone lots CL experience. So imagine him scoring another 4-5 goals in Europe

I think he'd just have to kick up a fuss and they'd have no choice but to let him go, I was surpised to see him go there in the first place

We definitely CAN disrespect Stoke if you want?

Wanyamma is one that springs to mind, Larsson another (i think, or was he good before he went up there??) and of cause let's not forget McGinn. Oliver Burke is one who is creating a stir, all be it his game time is at Forrest.

Debelle going to Celtic was/is a great move for him, he wouldn't have had this break though at Spurs, despite Poch's reputation & record for trusting youth. To a lesser extent the loan deal for Ball and Oduwa, who both for the time of there loans got far greater exposure than they would have done if loaned to Peterborough Utd. for example.
