This team have a massive identity crisis, doesn't know if it wants to be a team who plays on the front foot or to sit back and counter.

There is a middle ground in playing style to be found but I don't think that Nuno has that in him consistently. He's a counter attacking coach through and through.

Someone like Valverde would have us playing that slow build up, pragmatic but not defensive football that he is obviously trying here much better.
