Not just them. Other mid table table team raise their games against us. Is bragging rights to win against us and no shame losing. Best of both worlds. We just like to be the fucking glorified and expensive whore satisfying all other teams in the league.
The Leicester City season is a clear example of this for sure.

I sometimes wonder about whether we're perceived to be at a level where teams don't underestimate us but equally don't fear us enough to not have a go. It seems Man City (and maybe Woolwich this season?) have opposition laying down their tools before the match even kicks off.

The worst part of that Kulu hollywood cross was that it almost cost us the game up the other end. That passage of play should have resulted in a scoring opportunity. The lads scrambled well at the back.

Was some good stuff in that performance. Was always gonna be tough to break them down. Wouldn’t have hooked madds. Top end of the pitch is where we need some real extra quality in the summer

First time I am saying this, Ange ball is getting predictable with no explosive impact, and is getting boring.
Unfortunately I'm staring to think the same. We were playing with freedom at the start of the season but the longer Ange has to implement his style, the more predictable our game is getting. There is a group of players there that collectively are capable of more than just passing passing passing - cut back - tap in football.

Good game

You want to play this way it has to be technique and tactical nous over athleticism, and a bucketload of that in each individual. Too many of ours, including some of our apparent better players, just can't do the intricate and/or make the right choices in tight spaces in the final third. We have to be ruthless in the next 12-24 months when building the squad.
Well lucky for us the manager's main target in the summer who cost £50M is all athleticism (read pace with no physicality or intent) with very little technique apart from a nice blind cross when given space, a January signing to play on the other flank who's all athleticism in terms of speed but like the other flank is soft as shit

Fastest front 3 we’ve ever had and all the want to do is come short to the ball. Fucking run in behind and fuck the way we play.sometimes you need to ask a question of defenders and we don’t do it anywhere near enough. 2 pts dropped against a bang average team. Played in front of West Ham and they were comfortable all night.
