Our thrashing of the scum is up on the OS: Highlights - tottenhamhotspur.com

I have yet to see Edwards play in the flesh yet, but looking forward to it, in the highlights he looks a player. Our 4th goal is a thing of beauty, playing out from the back while under a good press!

For those it interests, look beyond the pitch and you can see construction of the new player lodge in full swing (behind the green hording).

Wow, some of those moves were very good.

Edwards looks like such a star, hands down.

Bit of news.

Stylianides and Owens are being given third year of scholarship rather than a pro contract - I'm happy with that, personally.

*Apparently* this was Poch's decision as he thinks the first years are doing better than them.

Loan watch:

Oduwa came off the bench for the last 10 or so minutes in Colchesters 0-0 draw.
Pritchard was an unused sub in West Broms 3-2 home win against Crystal Palace.
Yedlin played the full 90 minutes in Sunderlands 1-0 loss away at West Ham. Ineffective.
Ogilvie played the full 90 minutes in Stevenages 0-2 loss at home to Exeter.
Ball was an unused substitute in Rangers' 1-0 win at home to St. Mirren.
Ward came off the bench after an hour or so for Rotherham and scored the winning goal against Brentford.

Teenaged Tottenham Hotspur prospect Marcus Edwards in stand-off with club
• England Under-17 midfielder yet to sign professional contract
• Player could leave as free agent in summer 2017

Marcus Edwards, the 17-year-old Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, is locked in a stand-off with the club and has not signed the professional contract that was put before him last December.

The attacking midfielder, who is rated as one of the best prospects from his age-group in England, remains on his scholarship deal, which expires in the summer of next year and, as things stand, he could then leave as a free agent for a fee fixed at tribunal.

A host of leading clubs in England and mainland Europe – alerted, in particular, by his performances for the England Under-17s – have tracked his progress and they sense that he could be poached from Tottenham.

The club officially offered him professional terms on his 17th birthday on 3 December and it is unclear what has led to the impasse.

Edwards, who featured in the Guardian’s 2015 talents to watch, has been at Tottenham since the age of eight and he has long been considered as a future first-team player.

He starred for England at the European Under-17 Championship last May while he also played at the Under-17 World Cup last October.

Edwards has been at Spurs since he was 8 and he is indecisive on whether or not he wants to sign a professional deal? Fuck off.
