Fulham are playing Chelsea Friday night, so that would need to be moved.
I can understand Villa's concerns. If it was us in their situation, with Kane, Son, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Alderweireld out, then I'd want it postponed. I can also understand Mourinho's position. 2 league games postponed already, and the PL again leaving it late to decide what's best.

Fulham have apparently said no to the suggestion (for now) because they played 120 minutes on the weekend.

We mostly play sundays this season so being 2 games behind actually is more like 3 when you factor that in. Let’s say we were level on points and games with Liverpool, with these two games suspended and playing a day later we would actually end up being 9 points behind them every game day even if we were setting the same pace.
That on its own undermines the integrity of the league, let alone the fact that we have how many games to play already? The most games in the top flight this season I believe. . .

fuck Fulham. They should get no say in this. They were the ones that couldn’t keep charge of their players all getting Covid in the first place, which resulted in the original game getting cancelled. They don’t get to pick and choose when they play. If the FA feel it’s right moving this game to midweek, to stop fixture congestion then they have to deal with it. Fuck em!!!!
And all of ours have behaved well of course !
3 players son and rightly so they have been punished and sounded out by the club. Will be fined and money going to charity. Fulham couldn’t keep charge of all their players because our game got cancelled, so clearly was a large number of players that contracted Covid. That’s their fault, so they can fuck off moaning if the game gets played instead of Villa midweek
