Near Pointless trying to get anything from the ref at Anfield in normal times, but post var mistake and now klopp leaving, there really is no point even pretending it's impartial when you play them . The refs and his assistants should really just be in their home kit
Pleased for Werner. Player that went under the radar a bit was Van de Ven. So great to have him back. Quietly went about his business and made several important interceptions. So fast
You can understand the ref not giving it but VAR had to ask him to see the reverse view.

Hard on the blood pressure today but lovely in a way at how that played out. Brentford are fucking muggy too. Seem to be wanting to take Leicester and Southampton’s place as the plastic chav wannabes this season. Really dislikable bunch including that failed tart Maupay. Promising from Werner and much needed confidence for Richie and Johnson. So much improvement to come from this team next year but we can still achieve something good before the summer.
