See I'm not sure if you are joking or not.

I read somewhere that Chelsea have beaten us more times than any other premier league team, we have conceded more goals against Chelsea than anyone else and we haven't won at Stamford Bridge since 2018; we've only won once there in 35 years.

I'm not saying fuck it and give them the points but not sure where your bullish optimism comes from. 🤣
With both of us having been in the PL for the entire duration, and with us being shit and them being world beaters, this stat isn't at all surprising.
I'd bet United, Liverpool and Arse have similar records against us and I'd be our favourite whipping boys are Everton.

I was a young kid in the era of "Spurs have won at Anfield for 82 years" it was horrific and it took Garth Crooks to change it...but he did and things change.

Ironically, 2 of the leagues who've received a bit of derogatory comments (even mocked) in this forum - the Bundesliga & Seri A - may snap up the 2 extra CL spots for next season because their teams have performed better than the EPL clubs have in all the European competitions this season

Serie A is a much stronger league than it was 3 or 4 years ago. Inter are a top side and I’d fancy them against anybody but City in the Champions League.

Everything building towards April. Get some momentum in March and anything is possible.

It’s been a very decent season so far against teams in the current (and probably final) top 6.
10 matches to play in total. 3 more to go.

Think it could yet be the best season in a while in that regards? Be good to be near the top of that particular little mini league.

Our 7 best seasons since the Premier League started;

After 27 games we current have the 2nd most wins and the most goals scored.

At the start of the season I had spoken on here about 70 league goals being doable without Kane. That could be as high as 80+ with our current rate.

Though many seem to forget, a 70+ point season is excellent for us. As things stand I think we could be aiming at our 3rd best Premier League season. Unbelievable really given all considerations.

That’s a very telling stat.

People want us to compete with city, Liverpool etc etc for the league and domestic cups.

But just goes to show how far off the pace we are when teams who win the league often have 65+ or even 70 + after 28 games.
3/4 of the way through the season.

We are here saying 70+ after 38 games is an excellent season!!

We are +13 "same" teams and +5 same games as last season.

PPG 1.96 is the 5th best in our top flight history and would give us 74 points for 38 games.

Our results against upcoming next 5 "same" opponents were pretty good last season but same games we had a bad patch winning only one.
"Same" opponents 3-1-1.
Same games 1-2-2.

Yeah but then we went on some crazy run at the end of the season and won something like 12/13 matches

Indeed.

Fixtures are alot tougher this time round, unfortunately.

In those final 11 games (in which we won 10/11), we faced just two teams that were higher than 10th in the league at the time of playing.
