Ran 13k last night scoring 2 goals, he may be technically limited to a point but the guy's work rate is unmatched, he's literally carrying his club on his back right now, floor raiser.
If we can get him for £30m then it would be a great signing.

He’s got Yanited written all over him. In fact if Fergie were still there they’d probably have dropped £80m on him in January. Would be a good move for them too.

I'm of the opinion that Romero will be sold if we are genuinely in for Branthwaite.
Branthwaite is left footed and plays on the left.
Selling van de Ven whilst his stock is high off the back of two torn hamstrings is probably more likely than selling our co-captain tbh.

I really doubt we're paying 70-80m for Branthwaite. We'll probably only pull the trigger if Everton get relegated / are in serious FFP difficulties, in which case he'd probably cost more around 40m.

Still can't see it. If he was ever going for that price, he'd have every top club in the country bar Liverpool going for him and when he sees van de Ven infront of him, I doubt he makes the decision we'd want to hear.
Yet he consistently performs well enough when called upon.
He hasn't ever played a season at CB in a back 4.
If our 4th choice CB has to play in every match, we are well and truly fucked anyway.
