Good luck to any opponent ever trying to press us when Bentancur, Maddison, Sarr, Bissouma, and GLC are all fit.
Skipp and Hojbjerg have 27 combined sub appearances this year, next year those sub appearances are going to be from the likes of Bissouma, Bentancur, GLC, and maybe Conor Gallagher or a similar signing.
Think how much our ability to play Ange’s style falls off when our starting midfield comes off, soon we’ll be able to play a full match in the center of the pitch in our style with always fresh legs. Can’t wait.

Brilliant point. Add to that a centre half who can play a bit and another fullback in the squad, that's Emerson and Davies minutes upgraded with more suitable footballers too.
We’re so close to an elite side, wouldn’t mind one more dynamic forward player too to go with the other additions you mentioned.

yea agree. think we need one more really good forward player to be a truly elite side. solomon, gil, johnson and a 34 year old perisic just arent at that level....if perisic was 8 years younger we would be sweet.

I really enjoy the way they handle this kind of stuff in NHL. So i would say dont waste your red on Matty Cash - just go for Watkins, McGinn or Diaby
the bournemouth game just proves that the CM spot is and always be the most important position on a football pitch. if you got a good midfield youre always going to be alright. we go into that game with two backup fullbacks playing CB but we are confident because we have a proper midfield that we know is far superior to the oppo.

Missing Biss, him and Maddison as well as VDV and Romero is like the filth not having Odegard, Roce, Saka, Saliba and Gabriel. They shit the bed when Saliba missed a few games, let alone the other four together
well sarr is only 20, scary to think what he could become. it really is fucking healthy stuff right now. if we can get that front line sorted we are a legit force. bentancur, sarr, biss, madders, gio...if you can keep 4 of them healthy all the time we are going to win stuff. the back 4 is looking very good when all fit and the keeper is a joke. that front 3 just needs some fine tuning or a big player to come in and really take it to another level. then we are right up there with city.

It's been pitifully obvious we're going to have VAR watching every foul we make looking for an excuse to get us after Liverpool.
The cards are stacked and we need players to wise up and not give them anything to check.
