Lloris in his absolute prime would have been too poor of a fit for Angeball to work.Going purely on last season Forster is ahead of lloris and there is nothing to suggest lloris will recapture past levels
There are very few keepers of Hugo's generation left at elite clubs (compare to a decade ago when there were 40 year olds all over the place in goal). They were built and trained in an era when the keeper playing the ball in the build up was not yet a standard part of the game, and that has always been an area of particular weakness for Lloris despite being an elite shot-stopper and in his younger days an outstanding sweeper keeper.
