This will be a disaster of an appointment Levy and Conte cannot work and his style is not great. Hopefully this is like the other Italian manager links and BS.

He’s a lot better than Jose but more unpredictable.

The squad and our level of backing could make him explode and meltdown and we would be back to square one. At best it would be a very big gamble.

Ramano says it's talks about the project and salary. Could be something this is wrapped up quickly, but could also be something that scuppers the deal. I can imagine Levy saying he wants the team back in the top 4, whilst Conte will want to aim for silverware.

Conte is the best available, and if Levy really wants to get fans back on side, then he needs to get this right and appoint him today.

If he does come in, I hope he brings a Director of Football with him also.

Aren't the "complexities" exactly the same? ten Hag Extended his contract, taking his contract end date to 2023.

And Poch contract has been extended following a clause that saw it extended following getting into CL, taking his contract to 2023.

What's the difference? (apart from the amount of compensation required).

The complexity of the issue is that Levy doesn't want to pay the comp and as always expects the other party to speak out and force a move so Levy can get them cheaper.

How many times have we seen him do this? And how many times has it failed?

It's a very short term option. He's not going to be here beyond 24 months. Likely could be decent for that time, but he will eventually fall out with the board over transfers, like he has everywhere else.

Conte is a far better manager than Mourinho at the moment.

He's also crazy.

Conte is a great short term manager if you have an open cheque book. Spurs will not back him for more than a few windows and he will lose his shit and blow everything up like Mourinho did. I also having actually seen him do anything that impressive he won the league with an amazing Chelsea Side by signing the best Central Midfielder. I also do not rate winning the Italian League with Juve or outspending everyone else with Inter. The fact is he has always been heavily backed as a manager. There is a reason why Real Madrid and PSG do not want to touch him. But this is typical Levy Fucks up the the negotiations and then does something completely stupid.

Sounds like we have at least made contact with Le Cunte.

This is good, he is probably the best manager we can get right now ... he will succeed if we enable him to succeed.

One of his best points is he will turn our players into robots who don't think for themselves on the pitch, which is fantastic for the likes of Dier.
