Dembele once again can't get in the Belgium eleven.
What is it that everyone else besides us Spurs fans doesn't see?
I agree with that but there is literally no excuse now that Martinez and Henry are the coaches. They know Dembele and what he's worth in the squad.I think most people who watch Premier League football reguarly rates him highly.

I thought it weird playing with chadli and Carrasco as wing backs, I don't think Martinez is going to get the best out of them either. No point playing 3 at the back if you haven't got wing backs for it to work, the problem is beyond Vertonghen they don't really have a decent left back. I doubt Pocognoli gets picked whilst playing Championship football (despite it being a better level than Belgian football). Fellaini and Chadli shouldn't be anywhere near the Belgium team.
Belgium are just one of those teams that have a ridiculous amount of riches, but you can't fit them all in. Courtois, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Nainggolan, Lukaku and Mertens are the ONLY players who should be walking into that starting line up based on form alone.
You then build around that - when everyone is fit, this should be the team:
CourtoisFuck the defensive shit from the front three because you're never getting it so you fill that midfield with central players who do work hard defensively. You have two of the best of them in Dembele and Nainggolan and you start the youthful Tielemans in there to gain experience and confidence.
Muenier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Pocognoli
Dembele - Tielemans - Naingollan
Mertens - Lukaku - Hazard
No wonder he has looked a bit off the pace, we should have pulled him from this England squad.Dier's 120th starting eleven appearance for club and country since January 2015, excluding pre-season games. Unbelieveable.
It's frustrating that other teams do it, even ones below usNo wonder he has looked a bit off the pace, we should have pulled him from this England squad.
Why would you want a defensive midfielder v Lithuania anyway? It's frustrating that other teams do it, even ones below us
Agreed. Ferguson was a master of the "oh no, our key player got a knock just before the international break. How terrrrrible."It's frustrating that other teams do it, even ones below us
Did United pull Michael Carrick from the squad or was he not selected?Agreed. Ferguson was a master of the "oh no, our key player got a knock just before the international break. How terrrrrible."
We might be victims of how much our lads are motivated by glory - and are all chomping at the bit to represent their respective countries.
Can't imagine how difficult it would be to try and get Kane to feign an injury and miss playing for England.
Not a clue. I know that Hazard has had a very convenient 'knock' to keep him out of Belgium duty. And that arsehole hasn't even had to play european football this season!Did United pull Michael Carrick from the squad or was he not selected?
