Give the job to Mason because:

1. His style and setup suit Spurs as opposed to the previous 3 Jose, Nune and Conte.
2. No big name or overseas manager can work and Levy Enic regime, Mason can.
3. Mason is better than any unknow unproven manager, less risk know what to expect.
4. You never know, possibly Mason can have arteta luck next season.

Nope. Far too much of a risk. In no way, shape or form should Mason be getting the job full time. Get Nagelsmaan in and Ryan Mason on his team learning.

When are we gone learn?

Nagelsmaan wants to win trophies and complete for titles:
1. Do Spurs fans think he can achieve such with current squad?
2. Do Spurs fans think Enic Levy will change spending policy for Nagelsmaan?

If the answer in NO to both questions then Nagelsmaan will have the same pattern of tenure and ending of Jose and Conte.

Nagelsmann is a massive risk too. Just because internet football fans know and respect him it doesn't mean footballers are as impressed with his background. He is still very young, lost the Bayern job because in part some players in the squad no longer performed for him, his only experience so far has been in the Bundesliga.

Managing Spurs is a thankless job. He will have to deal with Levy, the fans expect us to win the league whilst playing swashbuckling football, top 4 is no longer enough. That's pressure, especially in a league he is not used to and opposition clubs who spend more and have a tradition of winning more.

So let’s go for Ryan Mason then and bask in mediocrity back to mid table then? Nagelsmaan isn’t a “winning manager” like Conte/ Mourinho is he? He’s a progressive manager that needs the right club to build another project. He is the right man, not Ryan Mason who has about 8 managerial games on his belt. Absolutely ridiculous he’s even being considered.

Spending money isn't the issue anymore. We have spent a fortune since we moved to the new stadium. We've just spent it mostly on shit players.

I'm sure potential managers are asking Levy who the director of football will be and not how many hundreds of millions we have to spend. When Man City spend £50m they get a top class player every time. When we do it we almost always get a turd. Then you have teams like Brighton finding gems all over the place. We have become terrible at both. Whether we spend money on big names or sign prospects, they are all flopping.

As negative as Mourinho and Conte have been, if Ndombele and Lo Celso had been as good as Dembele and Eriksen, we wouldn't be where we are. We just spent £60m on a striker who scored his first PL goal on matchday 34. A new manager will want to know that we have a football operation capable of signing quality players, whether they are proven stars or prospects. The current shambles of our football structure will be much more off-putting to managers than our spending power (which is substantial).

Nagelsmann is and was capable of managing Bayern, a huge pressure job. Mason is nowhere near that level. To suggest the risk is somewhat similar is madness in my opinion and I like mason. He definitely has the potential to do well but we shouldn't be his experiment just yet.

I think most fans are well aware we are miles off winning a league title.

While Nagelsmann does play good football. His team's are generally solid defensively

Only two candidates I have any interest in are Nagelsmann or Mason.

For different but similar reasons.

I get that Nagelsmann is the club's top choice and I fully get why as well. Mason doesn't have half the track record. Nags actually got his first chance in a very similar situation to Mason now and smashed it. Then smashed it at his next 2 clubs. the Bayern sacking is a freakish opportunity to get one of the very few coaches in the world with the potential to get near Pep's level.

Mason would be about the club meaning more than just the players in the shirt at the time. He is Spurs through and through plus also looks like his life experience and passion for the game has created the perfect storm for a fucking elite coach. Has the classic unfinished business from his playing career but also enough credit earned to get buy in from players.

As long as the club gets either in place for next season, there is plenty to be optimistic about.

"Daniel Levy WILL pay for Xabi Alonso’s release from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Tottenham chief has identified the former Liverpool player as his No.1 choice to take over the vacant role from Antonio Conte. And he is resigned to pay for the privilege - leaving a successful interview as the one stumbling block preventing the appointment of the ex-Spain midfielder."

Look at the state of that headline..... Clickbait as fuck!

We played 3 up front, Kane through the centre and rich and son wide. We struggled again because neither rich or son are wide men in the true sense.

Whenever son and Kane play closer together they playoff each other and can create havoc

Son and Rich cant adapt to the system in terms of the defensive side and when going forward want to play off the defenders shoulder.... If/when son comes deep he is really rotten, can't see a pass hangs onto the ball too long and more often than not loses it.

It's been our season, sacrificing our midfield for a front three system which does not work because of our personnel, and yet Mason was happy to go with it again today. Simply can't accept Mason as a manager on that basis. However maybe he feels that's all the cards he has been dealt.

I'm not sure what manager could be successful with our current squad and even worse our current recruitment system, and only a fool would trust Daniel levy's word.
