I think we passed on James for £25 million from Norwich.

Now paying £15 million extra having got PL experience and someone in their prime is decent.

This is why I really wanted Leicester to get relegated. It's helped us out massively here.

It's a good price; but relegation at the same time as the last year of his contract screwed them.... We really shouldn't have paid much more.


The Winks deal would prove an absolute cherry on top tho.
