No we don't.We need to sell first. Wait till the Kane deal is done.
Then can we go medieval on him and hung, drawn and quarter him for breaking insider trading laws? What we need are 30 daily options listed in numerical order.
We could do a sweepstake then.
Levy could then rig it so the cunt squad win with insider information.
We are one of the richest clubs, but we already had a big window, and we have no European football. No we don't.
We are one of the richest clubs in the world with one of the highest turnovers.
The most expensive season ticket and the highest paid chairman.
We could afford to go out and but two CB's tomorrow, but we won't, it's all about Levy and his ego, playing games, and stringing others along and he does it every single transfer window, because he feels the need to win every single fecking transfer battle in and out of the club. He refuses a L, and it's done more harm than good and cost us more money than saved.
In the meantime, Ange is being screwed over as he hasn't got the nucleus of his team together to bed in x2 Key area's we have desperately needed for years. So he can get his 11 starting to work together.
What Levy doing is what is known in the world as piss poor management.
And the only reason why Kane wants to Leave.
We are one of the richest clubs, but we already had a big window, and we have no European football.
This is our net spend over the last 5 years:
23/24: £-107.12m
22/23: £-118.93m (8th)
21/22: £-52.38m (4th)
20/21: £-83.08m (7th)
19/20: £-73.5m (6th)
23/24 is the only season on that list without European football. You're telling me we can just stick another £80m on 23/24 without blinking? We need to start getting some outgoings.
Woolwich are clearly getting pumped with cash by their owner, that's just not our situation, and won't be until Joe Lewis sells or croaks. We've spent about 105m pounds net and that's mostly on confirming players who were already here. Woolwich have just spent 210m net and are still looking at other players. This more than makes up for the "CL football" gap - especially since they had no CL last season and were spending close to 180m net then as well. About 150m net the season before too.
Throughout this period we actually have more revenue than them + have generally been higher in the table till last season so have earned more through European football. So yes, we absolutely could spend another 80m without breaking the bank, we just won't because it isn't how these owners operate as they're massively safety first and risk averse.
