I don't laugh at the Tonali thing. I'm actually fundamentally opposed to any rule that bans any player from gambling. Not match fixing. Gambling. If the FA, gambling companies, government, and clubs all stopped advertising or stopped people putting on bets and made gambling a crime it would be a different story. It's like putting smoking kills on a cigarette packet and banning smokers. It's not really addressing the issue. He didn't really do anything that a fan criticising him hasn't done before. It's very hypocritical. Same with the Toney thing.

He isn't betting on the number of throw ins and booting the ball out of play, otherwise he would be done for match fixing. Banning a player for betting is like banning a fan for betting. It's completely pointless.
So it had nothing to do with us at that point, like I said. Best and only thing he ever did for us.
It brings integrity into question and poses questions that the game shouldn't have to answer.
No it isn't. If your employer/industry dictates certain rules; you either follow them or face the consequences. Unfortunately that means the fans and club probably take the brunt as much (if not more than) the player.

The likes of Tonali or Toney clearly have a betting addiction and are losing more than they are winning just like any fan of a football team criticising them.
Completely different to Xhaka for example who match fixed and got nothing or bribed referees who get nothing handed to them.
If you as an organisation want to ban gambling then stop the advertising of gambling at the very least. Or better yet, go to the government and ban gambling companies who let anyone bet. Pointless banning players without banning yourselves for promoting it and encouraging it.
