David Luiz has conceded two penalties in four games for Woolwich - compared to three in 160 league appearances for Chelsea

He is a plant by Chelsea, Frank Lampard laughing his socks off :roflmao: :roflmao: £8m

Switched it off when Villa were 1-2 up cos I just knew what was going to happen.

Didn't think it'd even be as bad as getting away with a blatant handball in the box. VAR is pointless if it's not going to award these things. Pointless.

Also, regarding the free-kick, Villa should have received an indirect free-kick because of Chambers and David Luiz were both less than a metre away from the Villa wall, these are new rules:
Law 13.3 reads: “If, when a free kick is taken, an attacking team player is less than one metre (one yard) from a ‘wall’ formed by three or more defending team players, an indirect free kick is awarded.”

Yep saw that earlier, fucking thing is rigged.

VAR was meant to provide consistency

I was massively pro VAR, but now it appears it is not doing that. It is deciding games and not being consistently used to apply the rules.

Needs to go in the bin or needs to be used in specific situations

How the fuck was that penalty at the end not given?

Neither this nor the potential penalty for us against Newcastle were given ("waaaa, we don't wanna upset the ref by overturning his real-time decision") but a marginal offside, already with a frame rate margin of error, is gone over with a fine-tooth comb when absolutely fucking nobody asked for it.

It's going to be a long season.

VAR ref was Peter Bankes, just promoted to prem lge.
He would be overruling Moss who has been there for years.
Basically he hasn’t got the guts to make the decision. Make that two decisions.
Luiz in front of the wall less than a metre away is an easy decision to make. It’s not an opinion. It’s a fact!

More fucking tin arse luck. Sounds like Pool will be kicked out of the league cup for fielding an ineligible player.

Avoid Pool and get a bye. Fuck off
the league will use Sunderland as a precedent and just fine them

and yet, off all the things a club can do wrong, it the one with no excuses and the punishments can be set in stone. There are no mitigating circumstances. admin error= your own fault.

Pick an ineligible player in the league, lose all points for any game in which that player was on the bench/played. 1 minute or 90 minutes.

Pick an eligible player in the cup, kicked out. if before the following round, defeated team goes through. if another round has been played then next team gets a bye.
