I'm with this man.
He scored loads of goals. Didn't net a single one beyond the quarter finals of any of the competitions they won however.
If anyone other than Messi were to win it and it had to be from City, it wouldn't have been Haaland for me, personally.
You can say that about Rodri, Dias or many other players in that team.
I’m not really following what he’s done this year but is Messi really deserving of an 8th?
Bump btw
Hell, he may even win. He's going to get 60 in all comps at the rate he's going
Maybe next year if he wins it but def not this year.I think Real Madrid could quite easily win the Champions League. He's already having a record breaking season for the biggest club in the world and if England go far, even potentially win the Euros than I'd say he was a guarantee.
He's the talk of the town, players will hate playing against him but love playing with him and once you've got a hype machine behind you, you're on your way
It will really depend on how he performs in the UCL.. so far 3 games, 2 goals and 2assist which is pretty great.Kane will win it based on the fact he left us to win it!!*
Nailed on!
...either that, or it'll be Messi/Ronaldo/Mbappe/Neymar/Puskas/Pele again!
* Edit; seems like he's not in the Top 10 after all...
Ah well... Next year when he's rewarded for his 100 goals in a season for Bayern!
If France had won on pens, Messi probably doesn’t win this. If Messi was Norwegian and Haaland Argentinian, Messi probably doesn’t even play in the WC.Mental that Messi has won it on the back of a tournament which lasted a month when Haaland was the Prem top scorer and his team won a treble,
I love Messi but it's obviously been given to him for sentimental reasons.
That's because this is the original photo...Erm...why do I not see Messi or Ronaldo?
Or any Barca or Madrid players for that matter?
