Let's be honest it's a disgusting tackle that if it had been commited on any of us here in this lobby would of probably reacted the same as Daft cunt. I like good physical challenges but that's dangerous and he'll need to cut that out if he wants to be trusted.

You cannot have a go Alfie on this one.

As the senior pro it’s reasonable for Danny Drinkstoomuch to have anticipated the challenge and run backwards faster than he did.

if he was unable to do that then it’s also reasonable to say that he should, if he were professional, be fit enough to jump 3 foot clear of any tackle as it comes in. The lack of concern shown that he might fall on top of Alfie when jumping is concerning and angers me a lot.

And ultimately we must not be blind to the risk that Drinkwater posed just from being on the pitch. If he really was a role model then he would set an example by keeping his 2 meter distance at all costs minimum, but self isolate at home in all reality.

Try as I might I can only hold the Chelsea player 100% responsible for this awful incident. He could have wrecked our players career. Just so selfish and I hope the FA step in and bans Drinkwater and let’s Alfie off.

That does look even worse at that angle. You just cant do that.

The thing is as well, what does he think it achieves? Does he think that Jose is going to watch it and think.. ''hmmmn, intelligent C**t, get him in the first team'? Pretty sure it has the opposite effect.

No matter, he's young, no injury for Drinkwater, he'll learn, but i'm not gonna praise him for it.

I don't think that tackle is any worse than ones made by dozens of youth players over the years. The difference is now with social media we get to see them. I'll bet Keane, Vieira etc all made tackles like that coming up and they didn't do too badly.

I like the lad Devine, seems to have a bit of devil in him. You need that. And also the number 9 who fronted Drinkwater as well. Good to see him stick up for his team-mate.

We think Devine's a man but he he's only a boy.
I think he'll turn around, take one final look at what he left behind and realise he made a big mistake.
