The bloke (Jack?) talking about the club needing to be careful not to disenfranchise supporters had a good point, but the chances are, the point at which supporters stop going, whether old school or newbies, won't happen during ENIC's ownership. ENIC just don't give a shit.
It's the fans that need to stick together to ensure that the investment bankers who are obviously only interested in maximising their investment when they do finally sell don't take too many liberties and enforce too many rules. Though as with most organisations, a classic case of divide and conquer prevents this. A lot of people (cunts) who purport to support the club were more than willing to move to Stratford. If the fan base is divided on something as fundamental as staying in the area the club is named after, what hope have you got of uniting them over some bloke and his drum?
