I think you made a very salient point when you said you weren't entirely sure what Sherwood did at Spurs. I have trying to ascertain the answer to this question for a long time. No-one actually seems to know exactly what his remit was.
Also agree completely with your point on Lennon. The very definition of anonymous insipidity for much of the last 5 years. I don't even think he protected his FB very well either, he rarely actually engaged anyone meaningfully or tackled them, just shadowed them from a couple of yards.
