If I were to put a positive spin on this window (runs for cover), I will say that not many teams that are even in Europe have quality back up CB's. Granted ours are shite and have been at the club far too long, but we're not in Europe. Obviously we're desperately hoping Romero and VDV don't get injured or suspended (unlikely) but we have made some progress.

Shifting the crap has been our biggest issue, and honestly that is largely down to clubs simply not being arsed to try and negotiate with Levy.

Far from a great window, but also not a total disaster. Assuming of course we evaluate in January and then crucially next summer when we are hopefully back in Europe.

Levy's a cunt. Maddison's fully COYS.

Up the fucking Spurs.
We aren't accustomed to how few fixtures we actually have to fulfill until January, that much is true.

But of course, I have a bridge to sell you if you think we'll have any reinforcements through the door before Bissouma and Sarr have to leave for AFCON in early January.

I'd probably rate the window between 4 and 5 out of 10.

We've made some real good young signings in Vicario and Van de Ven, added in much needed creativity in Maddison and we'll see how Johnson pans out but we have left ourselves a little lacking in depth for Bissouma and at centre back, I'd say.

It's one of those windows that in isolation is lowly rated but in the long run may have been an important one in our rebuild.

If this is it for this windows there needs to be riots, well more levy/Enic protests. The reason they keep running the club so ineptly is they get away with it time and time again.

Totally understandable reaction, but I can only imagine he's doing this so he can have, within reason of course, free choice of his next club to finish off his career. So I guess he's willing to sacrifice a year of playing football and only get paid millions to do faff all to ensure he can do this....
Me too. Was told I was getting made redundant back at the end of March and had to work out the rest of my contract.

Sure. Make that happen.

:levylol:

Admittedly, I'm no athlete in the prime of their career but if you have kids and have any kind of passing interest, it's really not that hard.

It’s over no more signings :wansum:

One starting cb injury and we could be in deep shit.
We were discussing this yesterday, but I almost feel like Udogie getting crocked would be as significant. He's settled so quickly and dictates so much of our play. Davies just can't do it.

And Maddison getting injured would immediately change the speed at which we play through the middle.

We better get lucky this season, otherwise it could be brutal.
