As we know people can be over emotional. Especially when the internet is involved.

But at the core is the reality is that everyone cares and just wants to see the best of Tottenham. When the club represents itself well I honestly do think it is something to be proud of. When it presents as it currently does it’s embarrassing and so hard to defend.

That this situation is so close to 2021 just increases the sense that those in charge don’t want to be part of being proud, admirable or competitive. They just want to extract money for personal gain. Enough people are now angry about that. And want a solution.
Ok so fight for Tottenham Hotspur. Don't cry and talk about leaving for another.

It’s a day dream, but then it’s also better to save your ship before it sinks rather than wait till it totally bobs under.
That’s not saving it though. It’s letting it sink and then building a new one.

Naming a rowing boat Titanic wouldn’t save the Titanic. It would still be at the bottom of the Atlantic.

We all stick by our team. It’s the owners I am objecting to.

Not that it makes me virtuous but I was @ Oldham away in 94, and I was at Man City home in 2019…

There is a spectrum in which my support has existed. And many thousands of £ and hours committed.

But I ( personally) am utterly sick to death of seeing Tottenham dragged into the position of following Brentford’s model. It’s unforgivable what’s going on.
Oldham away.

What an experience that was.

It's up there with Barnsley away in 98.

Daft thread, the club will outlast Enic and Levy and most of this board.

Of course it will, but will the soul of the club? Anyone with the kind of capital, it'll take remove Joe Lewis will, much like him, be a soulless creature. We could strike gold and end up with someone who respects the club's traditions and maybe even gets them. Not holding out too much hope though. We are a cash cow in a cash cow league in a cash cow sport.

Missed the Wimbledon 2-6 game that kept us up that season. Not great days, really remember being so stressed under Gross.
Great day that Jürgen with 4 and Saib and think Sir Les with the goals.

Wimbledon away at Selhurst. Tramazzani's debut. I was in that number and honestly thought Spurs were going down. That was August 98 the season after the 2-6. Then the Leeds 3-3 against Graham's Leeds team a few days before he became Spurs manager.

You forget how bad things have been but I recognise the signs with this team.

Hojbjerg is reminding me more and more of Freund.

That's the world we live in though. I don't think FSG or Kroenke or the Arabs have the soul of their clubs at heart. It's all about investment and money and clubs are vehicles for a financial cause far bigger than winning trophies.

Why follow a breakaway spurs just go over to Woolwich - or if it’s the corporate nature of the prem turning you away follow Leyton orient and if they are still too commercial for you there is a host of non league teams that would welcome your support
