Apologies for my long winded rant in the middle of the night . I thought I would concisely and eloquently make the case for my disaffection with all things Levy / ENIC. Now I have had time to reflect i realise I was neither concise or eloquent , therefore I have written hopefully a better version below .

i hope most of you agree it’s an improvement

What a prize fucking tool he is, allegedly lol. Still are a few on here who think he is doing a stellar job

Sess is more likely to get in goal scoring positions than Reggie. He had lost all confidence and aggression when he gets there but is much less random and able to be where he should be.
Feel like Conte has finished the "break him down" phase, now we need to see what happens with the "build him back up" phase.
If that isn't the way he's been coached then somebody just needs to wake him the fuck up and find the fire in him. If not hes destined for for the Championship when he really should be a full international by now. Conte even said he expects him to be an important player for England

I feel bad for him, tbh.

Doesn't ever look confident, let alone like he is enjoying playing professional football.
You mean me?

Lenglet is not HG, so no idea why you are bringing that up.

Cos his name spun out of you talking about "overseas trained player spots becoming free"?

He have vacant spots in our squad for HG, but too many overseas trained, some out on loan. So from that point of view an HG defender would be good.

I think the only real take away form my post ought to be Lenglet is crap > do not want.

Agree. Whatever upsides he has, he'd just be another middling CB at best. We can only accept that if they're a backup position, and if it's backup position we're better off getting a HG player like Dunk, Tarkowski etc.

We've already got back-ups covered in Dier, Japh & Davies..... We need 2 starters and to keep our eye on the proverbial prize.

I remember last Summer when it was mused that it was a difficult window due to the impending WC and that January would likely be more active with players more open to moving...
I genuinely can’t believe anyone would say that about a January window…

Honestly I was hoping for at least one centreback this winter or at least a buy with a loan back until the Summer and especially a leftie. How many teams will be looking in the Summer. Chelsea will want onejust because they want to spend more money. Liverpool, PSG, Real will easily outbid is for the better players. City are planning a rebuild. Apparently Laporte is on the way out.We should have done a deal now. What money will we have....we have to pay for Porro, Dejan and possibly Danjuma. That’s a hefty sum before we start thinking about centrebacks and goalie.

Doesnt matter who the manager is. We have shit CB's who give away a goal every other game and should been replaced ages ago. We also have a goalkeeper who regularly fucks up.
These need replacing now. Any fool can see this.
Obviously the bald genius doesn't give a shit

Playing to the fcuking crowd here. Who is out there thst we reasonably could have bought?

Simple question.

Well I’ve just had an email to say that Beyoncé has signed up to play at Spurs in the summer. Key question is… can she play centre back?

:contebored:

Buying him under any circumstances would be a terrible idea..... And no amount of HG juggling would make it any better.

He's rubbish. He's the worst defender (for that's his job!) we have.
The only circumstance I would be ok with it is if we already bought 2 STARTING CB's, decided to sell Davies AND got Lenglet for a very very low fee.

Other then that specific scenario ots a hell no.

We've ruined him.

He's heading for the well trodden path that super Johny Bostock and Zeki Fryers took.

The road to nowhere.

Even then; much much much rather keep Davies.
