He seems a good player but we don’t have room in our squad for more foreign players as things stand.
You missed Doherty, or are Irish players not classed as foreign? You can register 17 foreign players...
Lloris, Hojbjerg, Sanchez, Son, Richarlison, Gil, Perisic, Royal, Romero, Kulusevski, Lucas, Sarr, Bentancur, Lenglet and Bissouma makes 15... unless I am missing someone?
Yes, we still have Ndombele and Reguilon in the squad still, but we don't have to register them and I assume both will leave. Ndombele seems close to Napoli and I refuse to believe there's a team out there that Reguilon wouldn't improve. Not to mention we could still send Sarr and/or Gil out on loan if we end up getting Malinovskyi for midfield.

I checked a bit more. I've cut and pasted from WikipediaCounts as HG when it comes to the Premier League.
Davies and Doherty however count as 'foreign' in the Champions League, I believe.
If, as seems likely Ndombele and Reggie leave we still have 18 non HG players as defined by UEFA. But under EPL rules we only have 14.You can register 17 foreign players...

Homegrown Player Rule (UEFA)
The Homegrown Player Rule is a rule for UEFA competitions that was first introduced in 2006–07 season and fully enforced beginning in the 2008–09 season. On top of a maximum 25 players for List A, clubs had to designate a minimum 8 players that were trained by clubs from the same national league, with 4 of them being from the club's own youth system. The rule in turn capped a maximum of 17 foreigners for the club in UEFA competitions.
Homegrown Player Rule (England)
Currently, to be classified as homegrown one must be on an English team for at least three years before the age of twenty-one which Dyke wanted to reduce to eighteen. This would mean that a teenager would have to start at the club by the age of fifteen at the latest and, since players are not allowed to move across national boundaries before sixteen (except under exceptional circumstances), this would mean fewer foreign players could qualify as homegrown.
Doherty was 18 when he joined Wolves from Bohemians.
HG for PL as 18 when he joined wolves.I checked a bit more. I've cut and pasted from Wikipedia

I agree and I only know he existed as of Tuesday this week.Would be one hell of a signing.

Our season may as well be over if we don't get it over the line.TFC transfer mentality nailed down.
Don't know who he is or if Spurs are actually interested but if we don't sign him the world will end.
Just call him Russ.Good grief, not another one with an unpronounceable name!
Took me 6 months to learn Kuluve... Kulukes...... Deki's!!
That's ITK Level 1 on SC.I agree and I only know he existed as of Tuesday this week.
