The problem is not the players they are the result. The problem is very little thought has gone in to the squad make up and future planning. We sold Walker 4 years ago now and Aurier has now played for us for four years with very little push to replace him even though he is a liability. When we did sign someone who could replace him it was Doherty who plays in a super specialised system where the wing back does not have to defend. This is a transfer that was a disaster for both teams Wolves lost a goal threat and goal assister, while we got a player who was completely useless to our system whoever scouted him needs to be gone. The problem we have is no forethought has gone into building our squad.
