We played a FALSE 9 with Son. He's NOT a striker though, so he found a SOLUTION using him. Jose can't find a solution to play without having a target man.
Jose has had Son available to him ASWELL as Kane this season and still had us play in a low block and getting us spanked in the process. So it doesn't really matter if Mesi was available to play for us, if Kane & Son are fit he will still set us up this way. He blamed those performances on no having Davies available to play.
