Imagine if every player who had a few poor games was just picked anyway to “get them through it”...we’d finish 12th
That answer wasn't black and white enough. Not so sure about that, it's whatPoch does a lot. Kane, Dele, Dier, Eriksen, Lloris, they've all had bad spells this season, where most managers would drop them but he keeps selecting them. To be fair I think he knows what it's like being a footballer and how confidence works. He knows they have the ability and attitude just bad form. If a young player is dropped despite trying their best they may start to believe they are not good enough.
Thanks DeeHappy birthday for tomorrow Mick, hope your best present is three points.
PS - Hugo does need a bit of TLC at the moment, but he'll have to fly out to Malta
I hope so,he added a spark Saturday.Against a team like Brighton(no disrespect intended),he could cause havoc.Moura will definitely start this
fully agree. I'm dreading them scoring first.I worry that we're going to have one eye (perhaps both eyes) on the semi-final and we'll be poor in this game. The result might depend on how good Brighton are. I hope we come through it with the three points, don't care how.
