We’ve agreed with the Leyton Orient FC that 1882 will be allocated a block for the FA Youth Cup 3rd Round tie v Middlesbrough at Brisbane Road. The game is this coming Monday, 2nd December, and kick off is at 7:00pm. There will be no tickets for the game, it will be £5 on the door. The safety officer at Orient has asks us to congregate outside the leisure Centre opposite the ticket office in the West Stand on Oliver Road at 6:45pm. We’ll be led to ‘our’ block from there. The atmosphere at White Hart Lane has been a hot topic since AVB’s post Hull City comments. Since that Sunday evening, WHL has played host to two 1882 events and brought the movement and its ethos into the spotlight. I arrived home on Thursday night after the Europa League game to FC Sheriff, suffering from a cold and exhausted but whilst I was giving the lowdown to my wife on the Spurs game I had just been to she asked, “How much have you drunk tonight?” I hadn’t touched a drop.
