Eriksen as good as gone in January if not the end of season. Doesn't start anymore , but he continues to save the team by getting subbed in when the side is chasing goals and changing the game. Safe to say there is no creative spark in the current team except for him

Losing him without a replacement can tank the season single-handedly. Who can replace him (and realistically available) ? -

a) Coutinho ?
b) Bale ?
c) Ziyech ?
d) Havertz ?

....Some configuration or another of Ndombele & GLC?

We're not predicated to play the same way.

If we were shopping to replace like for like in terms of playmaking creativity via CAM tho, I'd decline 3 of those 4..... Don't really know Havertz tbf.

And realistically afford?

What is perfectly clear is that Eriksen's ability has been making a lot of average players look good over the last few seasons. His creativity and Kane/Son's finishing has been the lifeblood of the team.

Alli has shown that he is a good finisher and great in the opposition box, but he is unable to create much from deeper positions; which means he is better suited to playing in a front 3 (rather than behind them).

Can Lo Celso or Ndombele be the creative spark? Certainly not in the system we have inherited from Poch.

Didnt we sign Lo Celso with him leaving in mind?
We did. But having a alternative to rotate with Gio is probably smart. Or else we will be back at square one and dependant on Gio playing/being on form for a creative spark.

Grealish.

I'd like to see a rock solid DM to play alongside a fit TND.
TND can then provide the link between defence and attack. It won't be 40 yard passes, it'll be ball retention and dribbles with shorter passes into the 3 behind Kane to them make it happen further up.
