Cautiously optimistic after yesterday.

Beating Olympiakos 3-0 and Leicester 4-1 would be as expected as losing both.
When we’ve played well for 6 games, and won at least 4, I’ll believe I’ve got my Tottenham back.

Yeah, fucking up both those games is as much on the cards too...isn't it great being us though, never a sure thing, anything is possible...

No doubt the close of the transfer window is the biggest thing. While it was open there were 7+ players who would have been talking about their next club in the dressing room, on the training pitch, on WhatsApp, etc. It’s understandable that we were wobbly when so many players were trying to leave and the manager was complaining constantly. Now they have nothing to focus on except winning games for Tottenham.

George, where did it all go wrong?
The hotel bellboy who delivered champagne to George Best's room and found him entertaining a scantily-clad Miss World on a bed covered with his winnings from the casino.

Interesting to see that the results of this poll and the result in the Poch out poll are yielding similar results.
And good to see the majority of the forum not knee jerking, but looking at the bigger picture.

Thanks for posting.
I think it's just another example of Pocchetino's ambition and determination to drive Spurs forward far outweighing that of his chairman..
To be honest, the patience Poch has shown in the face of Levy's backhanded austerity is really quite remarkable.
The man deserves our respect.

It's not a good thing that he's thinking about what could have been instead of focusing what should be done right now. I don't think we would have been doing that much better with Coutinho. Despite our shortcomings on all sides of the pitch this season, our biggest issue are the fullbacks.

But it's yet another case of Levy not backing his manager.
And when Poch leaves and the next mug comes in the cycle starts again. Only this time we won't achieve top 4 finishes and CL finals like we did under Poch.

By all accounts Coutinho did not want to come here. He has also had a mediocre season and has just swapped the Barca bench for the Bayern one.

If Poch actually thinks he would have transformed our season, he's mad. There is a tired, bored atmosphere around the entire club and one player can't fix that.

Maybe so. But it's also symptomatic of our dramatic downfall. How many other players has Poch wanted but missed out on.
Why does the manager who consistently delivers champions league football for his chairman, consistently miss out on the players he wants.
And if none of those players see their future at Tottenham Hotspur, why?

It's easy to brush these questions under the carpet and blame it all on Poch, but we all know there's a much deeper issue below the surface.
