Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Everyone of my age (mid 30s) will recall the day when the FA Cup was still glorious (weakened teams and throwing matches wasn't yet a thing). We drew Man United away in the 3rd round, live on telly.... 1996/7

And started up front with Neale Fenn and Rory Allen; against what reflectively looks like an absolutely world class Manchester United team.

Sheringham and Armstrong were both frequently injured that season

Neal Fenn was a wood green boy(or there abouts) his Dad worked on the post with my mate in N22.
I remember his dad had high hopes as he was a Spurs fan as well.

Used to absolutely smash them in for the reserves and youth teams. Shame he never really made it in the first team

Crazy that he's the same age as Aaron Lennon.

Careers took a completely different path despite similar hype.

Takes me back to one of the first FIFA games& you could score a lob from the most ridiculous of parts of the pitch

Garry Brooke could have made it for us. Scored on his debut in the 4-4 against Southampton.
Technically sound, with an eye for a goal. Remember his 5 minute hat trick against Coventry in '82.
Unfortunately was involved in a car crash a few months later, and was never the same player.

He was from Edmonton, used to play on the field at the back of Aylward School with his mates, as did I with my mates. Played against him a few times, was surprised he made it as a pro when none of his mates did as some of them were much better than him, but then he put in the work when his mates were all out drinking.

Troy Archibald-Henville - still only 30 years old. Another blighted by injuries

Next up a player who I believe will go on to bigger and better things.

Really sorry when Milos Veljkovic moved on early in Poch reign

Think it was a big mistake - if memory serves me right in effect we bought Wimmer and allowed Veljkovic to move on because Wimmer restricted Veljkovic chances . Yes we got £16m for Wimmer selling him after buying him for £4m, but we allowed a player who is now worth probably £25m to £30m to move on for about £500k.

Madness.

And he's a player we could still use today imo

BTW zin zin do you still keep an eye on Spurs player contracts ?
